AN ABUNDANT LIFE
Week 5: An Abundant Life
Scripture:
“The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy. I came that they may have life and have it more abundantly.” — John 10:10 (ESV)
Devotional:
Jesus didn’t come just to give us life, He came to give us an abundant life. Not a life of survival, but one full of purpose, joy, peace, and divine connection through him to God.
Abundant living doesn’t necessarily mean material wealth or a trouble-free journey with no challenges. It means a life so rooted in God’s presence that even in the storm, we are not shaken. It’s having peace that surpasses understanding, love that overflows, and hope that endures.
Sometimes, we settle for less… letting fear, doubt, or being busy steal from the richness God offers. When we shift our focus from what we lack to seeking the kingdom, wouldn’t you think that your Father in Heaven who knows your needs would supply all of them?
Reflection Questions:
1. What areas of your life feel more like survival than abundance right now?
2. What is one way you can lean into the fullness of life Jesus offers today?
Prayer:
Jesus, thank You for coming to give me life that is abundant, full, and rich with Your love. Help me to recognize and reject anything that steals my joy or peace. Teach me to live in the overflow of Your presence, trusting that in You, there is always more. Amen.

That was well needed thanks
Thank you for your words of wisdom today
nI understand for me it’s all about the mindset I live in that holds on to the very things that robbed me of Jesus peace and love and joy. I pray that Jesus helps me a New Mind focus on Him
God's word is always right thank you
