The Year of Transition 2026
The Year of Transition 2026
Transition: to change from one state or condition to another.
We have stepped into a New Year! Have you asked yourself What’s
Next? God is ready to transition you. Transition is unavoidable. It is a
place where God calls you out of comfort and into purpose. Many
people try to avoid it, delay it and deny it. He is ready to shift, stretch
and reposition us and we must face it head.
Isaiah 43:19 “Behold I will do a new thing; now it shall spring forth;
shall we not know it”
Our 31 day fast has begun (Jan 1 – Jan 31) and this week’s theme is to
Resolve and Renew.
Resolve – to decide firmly on a course of action; to find a solution to a
problem, dispute or contentious matter.
Get out of the way of yourself and others. Resolve past hurts, issues
with yourself, family and friends. Trying to do this without the
guidance of God is impossible. Stop leaning to your own
understanding. Listen for and to his voice and his guidance. If you have
heard the resolution several times it’s not your conscience, its time to
move. Transition takes action.
Renew – to make it new fresh and strong again, either by restoring it
to a previous good condition, extending its validity for another period
or starting it again.
Extend the validity of your relationship with God. Get deeper into his
word and pray daily. If the condition or your relationship with God is
not valid. Restore it. Start fresh, commit to discipline and embrace
God’s new season.
All of this does not take much time to accomplish. It takes discipline
and a clear mind to focus on the things that God wants us to do. We
just have to keep our minds on him and not worry about others.
Prayer focus of the week: God to strengthen us as we begin our
transition and give us the courage to step into change.
God, I asked of you today to strengthen and give courage to readers to
walk in their purpose. To not be afraid of the transition but to embrace
it. Giving all their worries to you and not leaning to the understanding
of comfort. In Jesus name. Amen
