COVENANT - A RELATIONSHIP THAT HOLDS

Week 3: Covenant – A Relationship That Holds
Scripture: Remember the Sabbath day, to keep it holy. Six days you shall labor and do all your work, but the seventh day is the Sabbath of the Lord your God. In it you shall do no work: you, nor your son, nor your daughter, nor your male servant, nor your female servant, nor your cattle, nor your stranger who is within your gates. For in six days the Lord made the heavens and the earth, the sea, and all that is in them, and rested the seventh day. Therefore the Lord blessed the Sabbath day and hallowed it. — Exodus 20:8–11 (NKJV)

Life Application: Covenant is more than a promise—it's a holy relationship. The Sabbath is a sign of belonging, a sacred pause to connect with God. Set aside sacred time with God each week. Covenant living invites discipline, honor, and intentional connection.

Character Focus: God’s covenant with Abraham established a generational blessing. Though Abraham waited decades for Isaac, he trusted the God who made the promise.

Reflection: How are you maintaining your end of the covenant?

Prayer: Father, I recommit to honoring our covenant. Let my life reflect the depth of our relationship. Amen.
