CONTEND EARNESTLY
Week 1: Contend Earnestly
Scripture:
“Beloved, while I was very diligent to write to you concerning our common salvation, I found it necessary to write to you exhorting you to contend earnestly for the faith which was once for all delivered to the saints.”
Jude 1:3 NKJV
Devotional:
Have you ever felt attacked from all sides? Lord knows I have, and somehow even though I know the true sometimes I feel like the enemy is really winning. Until the knowledge that I have kicks in and my knowing reminds me that God not only has won for me but that I’m victorious in all things through Him. So I have to win! Right ?!?! The answer is yes but a lot of times when we get knocked down especially when it’s with a full swing punch it feels like the fight is already over because of how hard the blow was.
It’s okay to feel the way you do about the fight. But the point is for you not to stay down it’s to get up and keep moving forward in God and as you get back up just your serving , your prayer, your worship is a swing right back at the enemy. When I think of contending for the faith based off of this scripture it speaks of others but it is also in reference to ourselves. So I challenge you to keep contending for your own faith and watch how God responds and how it moves the enemy because as you already know he is defeated.
Prayer:
Dear God, I ask that you would teach me and continue to show me how to contend for my faith and faith in general. Thank you in advance for showing me what this looks like and for helping me to constantly walk this out in my own life. In Jesus Name I pray, Amen

I read this today at 9:00am 5/7/25 it was right on time to hear this wisdom the fight is real every day and I have to get up and it at it again today busted feeling defeated but know that the battle is not over because He’s not done with me yet so I will fight on and I will win the war yes in Jesus Christ name.
